Our lives are so much more stressful than they need to be. We are always trying to get somewhere or do something. Trying to get a handle on the present moment can be a challenge. We have so many distractions that we often miss what is going on around us.

We can often feel like we have the frequent feeling of being overwhelmed by life, work, and relationships. You may find yourself constantly putting off what you want to do for yourself because you feel like you don’t have time or energy. Or you may try to rush through life, but the truth is that we can’t rush life. Life is meant to be savored and enjoyed.

Jacki Mariest’s seasonal Qigong courses are designed to help you slow down, rest, and restore. They are a wonderful way to find your center again. You will leave each class feeling refreshed and renewed!

Qigong is a gentle form of exercise that involves deep breathing and controlled movements, usually practiced in a seated or standing position. It is traditionally an internal Chinese martial art with health benefits, but today it is used in the West by people of all ages and backgrounds to help achieve wellness and greater fitness.
Qigong has been used for at least 4,000 years, originating from China, as a way to maintain health and balance within the body. It has also been shown to help relieve symptoms of many chronic diseases, including arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, congestive heart failure, and chronic bronchitis.

The qi, pronounced “chi”, is a life force that exists in every living thing. It is the driving force behind life and health. Qigong is a way to promote your qi by aligning your body, mind, and breath in harmonious movement.

Through these courses, you will learn how to work with your emotions, your body, and your mind to fully experience each season as it comes to you.

By working through seasonal exercises and connecting with nature and your breath, you can fully experience the present moment. She teaches everything she has learned from her journey of self-healing through the Qigong seasonal courses.

Through Qigong, we learn how to slow down, connect with ourselves and our surroundings, and live the moments of our lives.

Jacki’s courses are easy to fit into your schedule. You can do them at home or on your lunch break. Follow the seasons back to the present moment through movement, breath, and awareness.
